The 2008 Ferrari F430 is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, or convertible sports car, available in two trims, the Coupe and the Spider.

Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 4.3-liter, V8, 490-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 17-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

The 2008 Ferrari F430 is a carryover from 2007.

The Ferrari F430 is a high-performance sports car produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari to succeed the 360. It debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show.

The Ferrari F430′s chassis is heavily based on its predecessor, the 360. Also, the next car that will be after the F430 will be the F450. Internally, both cars are referred to with the same model number (F131), though the F430 has the Evoluzione tag attached to show that it features some major changes. Internally, the car is simply known as the “Evo”

The 360 Modena is Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 sports car, offered in both coupe and spider versions. The first mid-engine V8 Ferrari was the 308 GTB which became one of the most popular Ferrari models of all time. The 308 was followed by the 348 for 1990 and the F355 for 1995.The 360 Modena replaced the F355 for 2000 and was lighter with a more rigid chassis through the use of aluminum for the chassis, body shell, and suspension components. The Spider was added during the 2001 model year.
